Topics: Soil pH measurement and lime requirement; Nitrogen determination by combustion Analysis; Microwave Digestion; Flow Injection Instrumentation; Resin extraction of soil nutrients; Soil phosphorus and acid soils and Lab method performance.

  PNW Laboratory Tour 
 
A Laboratory tour is being organized of soil/plant testing laboratories for the Pacific Northwest.  The tour will include the four commercial testing labs in Washington state and Columbia Crest Vineyards.  These labs annually test more than 120,000 plant and soil samples.  The tentative dates are the weeks of June 3rd or June 10th, with air travel in and out through Spokane, WA.  The tour will be limited to 8 participants.
