The Soil and Plant Analysis Council, Inc. (SPAC) is an international organization of educators, scientists and industrialists who are committed to advancing nutrient analysis of soil, plant, water, and manure. The organization is keenly aware of the vital role played by nutrient analysis in profitable and environmentally friendly management of plant nutrients and soil amendments. Together, SPAC members have discovered new methods and technologies that have revolutionized the nutrient analysis industry.

Key objectives of the Soil and Plant Analysis Council are as follows:

Provide Leadership in the development and dissemination of methodology, terminology, interpretation, and application of soil, plant, water, and other analyses for the purpose of efficient resource management and environmental protection.

Promote Research essential to continued development of effective analytical methods, calibration, and interpretation of soil, plant, water, and other analyses, and facilitate the interchange and expanded use of this information.

Expand the Use of soil, plant, water, and other analyses and diagnostic techniques that improve nutrient management in crop production and the environment.
